Linda McCartney’s are starting 2020 in style with the launch of 4 new products. The new creations include a Southern Style Chicken Fillet Burger and a Chicken Bucket. The year 2020 has started with a vegan bang, We’ve already seen the launch of Greggs Vegan Steak Bake and KFC’s Zero Chicken Burger. However, the news of Linda McCartney’s new offerings feels more significant as she makes food that you take home and cook with a meal. Vegans may try a KFC once in a blue moon or have a Gregg’s whilst out shopping. But for many vegans Linda McCartney’s’s products will find their way into the shopping trolleys at every grocery shop, and be consistent ingredients in home cooked meals.
Linda McCartney’s New Vegan Options
The company shared images of the new Chicken Bucket and Pulled Pork Meal Kit. Both products are believed to be available from January 20th. The Southern Style Burger and the Tomato & Basil Meatballs are already available in Sainsbury’s and Ocado. Linda McCartney’s have made it clear that the 4 new products will be added to the permanent range and are not just for Veganuary.
The Southern Style Burger and the Tomato & Basil Meatballs which launched on the 30th of December 2019 are priced at £2. The Pulled Pork Bao Bun meal kit and the Chicken Bucket will be priced at £5 when they come out. It’s worth noting that the supermarkets often have deals on where these products will be available at a reduced price.
A statement was released to coincide with the launch.
